Oak Ridge is lucky to welcome back one of the fastest-rising singer-songwriter stars in the country, Antje Duvekot. This concert will mark the official Southeast release of Antje's new album, The Near Demise of the High Wire Dancer. In its review, Folk & Acoustic Music Exchange speaks of Antje's "voice that is so pure and has such richness in tone that you can imagine a noisy room becoming silent the moment the first musical notes escape from her lips." Oak Ridgers don't have to imagine that scene—we've seen it for ourselves.

Opening for Antje is Philadelphia singer-songwriter Lizanne Knott, making her Tennessee debut. From folk ballads to roots rock, in the words of singer-songwriter Phil Roy, "Lizanne sings so sweet she makes birds jealous."
