Class Policies:
While I encourage you to study together and help each other learn, copying from someone else's homework is considered plagiarism, which is a serious offense.
Copying will be considered cheating and may be prosecuted as such.
The penalty for late homeworks is 5 points per day.
Homeworks may be turned in late only until the beginning of the next class period after the homework was due.
Missed tests: If you know you must miss a scheduled test and you have a serious and legitimate reason, then you must make arrangements with the instructor at least one week in advance, in writing.
If you miss a test without making prior arrangements, then you will receive a 0 for that test unless you can show evidence of a family emergency or serious sickness. The student health center no longer writes excuses for sickness.
