TITLE: LOW-COST FUNCTIONAL CHIP TESTER

One Hot Logic LLC has developed a functional chip tester to
simplify testing digital integrated circuits at low speed. The
tester accepts DIP and PGA packages with up to 256 pins and
supports 5-volt, 3.3-volt, and variable voltage operation. The
TestosterICs tester accepts test vectors in IRSIM and other
formats so the same tests used during design may be applied to
silicon. It also provides a Java-based API for more elaborate
test code.

TestosterICs is especially helpful to simplify the testing of
integrated circuits fabricated for introductory VLSI classes.
Students often are short of time to build a custom test fixture
or master a complex tester system. With TestosterICs, students
can determine if their chips are operational in minutes, not days
or weeks.
