TITLE: RUN-TIME MANAGEMENT OF RECONFIGURABLE HARDWARE

QuickFlex offers the Dynamic Logic Run Time Resource Manager
(DLRM) for reconfigurable hardware allowing maximum price
performance, flexibility, and massive scalability with multiple
real time reconfigurations on demand. QuickFlex acts as a
"virtual machine" which is OS, app, hardware independent and
allows application software and reconfigurable hardware to evolve
separately but remain compatible. QuickFlex solutions can be used
in multiple environments / platforms with the ability to have
hardware in one locale and software only solutions in other /
remote locations. Additionally, QuickFlex provides an open
platform for multiple solutions, is compatible with standard
tools, and allows 'hardware object' (IP) reuse which saves time
to market and development dollars. By eliminating the static
proprietary "one off" methods for using reconfigurable hardware
and providing an open standard QuickFlex solutions can obviously
benefit the government in several ways: enhanced price
performance of multiple applications, while providing a platform
to 'future proof' solutions with backward compatibility for
multiple solutions. The Q Qard platform is currently being used
by NASA in the International Space Station.
