"System Canvas" is an integrated DSP design environment that
performs algorithm otpimization and trade-offs prior to detailed
implementation. The desired filters and other DSP functions are
specified using hierarchical block diagrams and/or C/C++.
Simulation is then performed on the data flow graph using fixed-
point modeling in a variety of data formats (2sc, 1sc, unsigned,
sign/magniture, csd, etc.). An optimization engine efficiently
searches a large space of potential solutions and can be
controlled via scripts.
