TITLE: GET2CHIP LAUNCHES UNIVERSITY CONNECTIONS PROGRAM

Get2Chip, the electronic design automation (EDA) supplier of
multi-level, system-on-chip (SOC) synthesis, formally launched in
July 2002 its G2C University Connections Program, created for
qualified universities and training institutes worldwide.
Get2Chip's G2C-RTL Compiler (RC) and G2C-Architectural Compiler
(AC) are currently offered as part of this program.

Universities must offer graduate and post-graduate courses on
application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design and/or do
research design projects using logic synthesis at different
abstraction levels. In exchange, they receive special pricing on
Get2Chip's software and access to its technical support team.
They will also receive template designs and getting started
scripts, along with access to online product training. Finally,
Get2Chip includes packaged semester-long course curriculum with
three alternative application domain tracks with student
handouts, an instructor guide and design case study projects.
Qualifying universities today include the University of
California at Berkeley and the Indian Institute of Technology in
Madras, India.

G2C products support third-party libraries (e.g. Artisan) using
the Liberty format (.lib).

An on-line list of design IP case studies is continuously updated.
