A website with links to commercial EDA tools commonly used by
universities for fabricating designs via MOSIS may be found at:
EDA for MOSIS.
Prof. Cherrice Traver of Union College has categorized the
available EDA toolsets in terms of pedalogical goals as well as
operating systems/hardware platforms. Links to Cadence, Mentor
Graphics, Synopsys and Tanner are provided. Links to public
domain and open source tools are also provided.
The development of the website was sponsored by the MOSIS
Advisory Committee for Education whose chair is Prof. Rich Brown
of the Univ. of Michigan. Feedback on the website and other
