These workshops are free to any instructor who is interested in
using Xilinx in his/hercurriculum or research. Since seating is
limited, reservations will be on a first-come first-served basis.
Access: REGISTER
The workshops will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee, which is at
the crossroads of I-40 and I-75, about 200 miles north of
Atlanta.
The Knoxville airport (TYS) is located about 10 miles south of
the campus of the University of Tennessee.
Ground transportation in a 12-passenger van is available between
the airport and downtown hotels at the rate of $18 one-way per
person. Taxi fare is about $25 one-way.
Lodging may be booked at the Downtown Hilton by calling 1-865-
523-2300.
Ask for "in-house reservations" and use code "XUP" to obtain the
special group rate of $64 plus tax per night.
The room rate, which is applicable for 1 - 4 persons, is valid
during 7/23/Sat--7/31/Sun for those who want to come early or
stay late.

Free van transportation will be provided between the hotel and
campus each morning (8:00/8:15 a.m.) and afternoon (5:00/5:15

Univ. Center Garage.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided on campus each day at no
charge.
