TITLE: Text on Circuit Design with VHDL

"Circuit Design with VHDL", Second Edition (ISBN:
978-0-262-01433-5, 680 pages, 305 illustrations,  hardcover  $50)
written by Prof. Volnei Pedroni of the Federal Center of
Technological Education of Parana, Brazil, teaches VHDL using
system examples combined with programmable logic and sup-
ported by laboratory exercises. While other textbooks concen-
trate only on language features, this book offers a fully
integrated presentation of synthesizeable VHDL, including code
structure, data types, operators and attributes, concurrent
and sequential statements and code, objects (signals, variables,
and constants), design of finite state machines, and exam-
ples  of  additional  circuit designs.

The revised book includes:
- Complete VHDL for synthesis, covering also VHDL 2008
  (fixed- and floating-point circuits, for example);
- Complete VHDL for simulation (first to cover all four categories);
- Numerous modern, industry-standard complete de signs (serial
  data communications, serializers/deserializers, I2C and SPI
  data interfaces, DVI and FPD-Link video interfaces, basic and
  complex state machines, ROM and RAM memory implementations, etc.).
