TITLE: Faculty Positions in Power Electronics in Guangzhou, China

Several  faculty positions are available at the Associate Profes-
sor, Assistant Professor and  Post-Doctoral  levels  in  a  newly
formed Laboratory for Power Electronics and Energy at Sun Yat-sen
University in Guangzhou, China  under  the  leadership  of  Prof.
Adrian Ioinovici.

Candidates  with  good  research records in power electronics are
desired.  Industrial experience is  a  serious  advantage.   Pre-
ferred  areas  include  on-chip  power supplies (power electronic
converters implemented in IC technology), power  electronics  for
television sets, and power electronics in conjunction with alter-
native sources of energy.

Good MSc graduates can also apply for  pursing  a  Ph.D.  in  the
above areas.
