IFIP Information Available via FTP

The International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) is
a   federation   of   professional  and  technical  organizations
representing about 70 countries.  Its mission is to encourage and
assit  the  development, exploitation and application of informa-
tion technology for the benefit of all people.   Newsletters  and
calendars   can   now   be   retrieved   via   anonymous  FTP  to
"software.watson.ibm.com".  The password should be the user's In-
ternet   address.   The  files  are  located  under  subdirectory
"/pub/ifip".  An index may be obtained by typing "get index.txt".
To  retrieve  postscript files, issue the command "binary" before
typing "get filename.ps".
