Text on Circuit Design for CMOS VLSI Text by Uyemura
From the Kluwer Academic Publishers advertisement:
CIRCUIT DESIGN FOR CMOS VLSI by John Uyemura presents a broad
coverage of techniques for designing circuits in an integrated
CMOS environment. Digital logic styles are detailed, starting
from simple static circuits all the way through advanced dynamic
system approaches. An entire chapter is devoted to characterizing
and modelling MOSFET's. Individual chapters on analog CMOS and
BiCMOS are also included.
This approach provides a unified viewpoint of CMOS logic circuits
by stressing the operation and design of logic families, and then
grouping design styles according to similarities in operation.
Examples and problems dealing with interconnects, chip layout and
routing are presented.
The text was written for a graduate level course on CMOS circuit
design. No specific knowledge of CMOS circuits is assumed; how-
ever, some background in electronics and integrated circuit fa-
brication and layout is needed to understand some of the more ad-
vanced sections. Numerous illustrations and examples are provid-
ed throughout the book.
