This is to update current members of the High Performance Computing 
Users (HPCU) Group on our organizational progress while inviting new 
members to join. 

HPCU is a worldwide organization, open to all users of HPC systems. 
Please visit our web pages for updated information and take advantage 
of our brief on-line registration if you have not signed up yet. 

We offer free individual memberships to those intending to keep a 
reasonable attendance level at our annual conferences and other HPCU-
supported activities. We welcome corporate/institutional memberships 
in support of HPCU mission. Members get access to annual meetings; 
user, vendor, and industry feedback; an electronic newsletter (HPCU 
News) and other HPCU-supported publications, such as the web-based, 
peer-reviewed journal (J. HPC Users).

As a non-profit organization, the HPCU Group is managed by the users 
themselves and is vendor independent. HPCU's mission is to address 
common technology and interoperability of component- and market-driven 
HPC systems while serving as a liaison to the vendors, the funding 
agencies, industry and the entire user community.
