TITLE: Xilinx's University Training Courses

=================================================================

If you have thought about teaching an engineering course which
utilizes Programmable Logic technology, then attending one of Xilinx's
University Training Courses is an excellent way to get started.

The world leader in programmable Logic, Xilinx is now sponsoring
university workshops in the USA, Europe, S.Korea, and Taiwan. The
Xilinx University Program, in cooperation with Marshall Industries and
Education News and Entertainment Network, ETEN, is also
sponsoring the first internet based seminars for universities
worldwide ! If you cannot attend a workshop, we highly recommend
that you attend an internet seminar.

Workshops are the most complete option since they involve on-site
presentation mixed with hands-on lab exercises on the PC.
Workshops typically last 2 to 3 days and participants receive a
certificate of course completion. Workshops are taught both by Xilinx
professionals and by local professors who have experience with Xilinx
products in their own coursework in areas such as introductory and
upper level digital logic design, processor architecture, digital signal
processing, VLSI design, data communications, reconfigurable logic,
and various advanced level projects.

Internet Seminars are virtual seminars which enable instructors or
students anywhere with an internet connection to join in and learn how
to use Xilinx. These are interactive sessions, lasting 3 to 5 hours,
which allow attendees to call in and to email their questions, as well
as
participate in live chat sessions. This summer, Xilinx's Chief
Executive
Officer, Wim Roelandts, will also participate in the live chat session
to
answer YOUR questions.

The great news is that these UNIVERSITY COURSES ARE FREE!!
So, SIGN UP NOW for one of the training dates. Seating and certain
hotel spaces at the hands-on workshops are limited so it is very
important to make your reservation as soon as possible. Also, due to
the popularity of the workshops, Xilinx must limit attendance to 2
people per university.

The course schedules are shown below. However, PLEASE SEE
http://www.xilinx.com/programs/univ.htm for the full details and to
register.

Sincerely,

Jason Feinsmith
Xilinx University Program Manager
