enhanced learning experience combining content with several
customizable features such as audio, graphics, animation, chat
and discussion groups.
Cadence Internet Learning Series is an interactive education
experience that enhances the learning process and helps
shorten learning curves early in the design cycle. Cadence
Education Services is initially offering two Internet-enabled
courses via its website at:

One course
covers the Verilog language and simulation, and the other is
focused on the Tcl/Tk programming language. Additional
courses will debut throughout the year. The series
provides documentation, libraries, and downloadable labs for
students to run on their own systems. The courses include
interactive quizzes, innovative animation sequences, and
audio clips on specific subjects. In addition, a chat room
enables all students online to talk live about the subject
matter, and a bulletin board function enables students to post
questions that will be monitored by a qualified instructor.
