TITLE: UNIFIED MODELING LANGUAGE
The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is being used by many
organizations. A free "industrial strength" product is now
available to allows developers to take advantage of a graphical
analysis and design environment based on UML. Rhapsody Modeler
also includes links to configuration management and requirements
traceability products, an import capability from Rational Rose,
code frame generation, and an upgrade path to other Rhapsody
Visual Programming products.
Once you have established your base capability with Rhapsody
Modeler, you can leverage your Rhapsody Modeler designs and
upgrade to Rhapsody Validator which enables UML model execution
and validation. Or, you can upgrade to the Rhapsody Developer for
validation, full behavioral code generation, model-code
associativity, design-level debugging and test.
