TITLE: SRC FUNDING FOR COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN

The Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) anticipates being
able to add to its research portfolio a small number of tasks in
computer-aided design in 2001, in logic and physical design and
analysis tools for digital and analog/mixed signal circuits and
systems. A Request for White Papers (with an initial date for
preliminary, single-page white papers due January 26, 2001) and
an outline of research needs in these areas developed by SRC
member companies are available at CADTS.

Faculty should also be aware of a solicitation for research for
mixed signal electronic technologies, a joint initiative between
SRC and the National Science Foundation which includes a
computer-aided design and test component. Information can be
found at RFP .

Proposals from US institutions are due March 23, 2001.
