TITLE: FIELD-PROGRAMMABLE ANALOG ARRAY

Anadigm, Inc. has introduced a field-programmable analog array
(FPAA) that provides configurable analog opamps and interconnect.
A single device contains a matrix of twenty of these blocks and
can perform common signal conditioning functions for frequencies
from DC to 500 KHz. The part can be reconfigured in 100
microseconds. An extensive development environment can be
downloaded at no charge from the web. It includes a design entry
tool and floorplanner as well as a simulator. Also included is a
library of ready-to-use circuits including summing amplifiers,
integrators, differentiators, comparators, band-pass filters,
sine-wave oscillators and full/half-wave rectifiers. A
prototyping circuit board is also available for purchase at low
cost. For additional information, access: Anadigm
