This 1997 National Park Service GSMNP trail map is from the Library of Congress GSMNP map collection and uses LizardTech's MrSID decoder to decompress the wavelet-compressed map file. The latitude/longitude calibration of this map is only approximate, use the topo maps for more accurate coordinates. Also see latest GSMNP park maps (pdf's). GSMNP info on trail and campsite closures. Pinnacle Creek section of Lake Shore trail is no longer maintained, and there is a new route between campsite #90 and #86, and a new campsite 88.
