Welcome
Welcome to Greg Peterson's home page! I am a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Tennessee and the Director of the National Institute for Computational Sciences (the UT supercomputing center run for the NSF). My primary areas of interest include advanced computer architectures, high performance reconfigurable computing, computational science, electronic systems design automation, simulation, and performance evaluation. My research support has come from the National Science Foundation, Air Force Research Lab, DARPA, ORNL, and several industrial partners. I have had the opportunity to work with a number of bright students. See the page on current and former students. My current projects include developing accelerated applications for computational chemistry and biology using high performance reconfigurable computing platforms. I currently do not have any openings for research assistantships. |
