ECE 300 Lab - Spring 2004 |
The purpose of the ECE 300 laboratory is to provide practical illustrations to accompany the material in ECE 300 and ECE 300. This laboratory course makes available opportunities for the student to |

a) Analyze and predict the behavior of an electrical circuit | |||
b) Connect the circuit using off the shelf components | |||
c) Compare actual circuit operation to that which was predicted. | |||
Lab Operating Procedures - Must be followed strictly |

a) | Each student attends lab 6 times, in accordance with the assigned lab schedule. | ||
b) | Each student works ALONE. Each student is responsible for submitting his or her OWN work. | ||
c) | Pre lab work will be completed BEFORE coming to the lab and turned in for grading on entering the lab. The TA will grade this and turn it back to the students in the same lab period. | ||
d) | A cover sheet is provided which must be used as the cover to the lab report. | ||
e) | The graded prelab must be included at the end of the lab report. | ||

Grading | |||
The Labs are graded in a scale of 0-25 points . 15 points for the Pre Lab , 10 points for the lab report. All labs must be done to receive a passing grade in ECE 300. | |||
Suggestions | |||
The ECE 300 Lab Kit must be purchased from the EE Parts Store (FH 207). The kit includes all the necessary parts needed to complete the lab. The Lab TA has answers, which are based on the components purchased in the lab kit. |

The Honor Code |

Students are required to do their OWN work. The student is free to discuss the pre lab with other students, but each lab submitted must reflect the student's own work. If there are any questions concerning the prelab and/or lab, be sure to schedule an appointment with the TA at least ONE day before the scheduled lab. |
