ECE 300 Lab Spring 2006
The purpose of the ECE 300 laboratory is to provide practical illustrations to
accompany the material in ECE 300 and ECE 300.
This laboratory course makes available opportunities for the student to
- Analyze and predict the behavior of an electrical circuit
- Connect the circuit using off the shelf components
- Compare actual circuit operation to that which was predicted.

ECE 300 Labs with start the week of January 24, 2006. Assigned lab times are at the bottom of the page.
Lab Operating Procedures
- Each student attends lab 7 times, in accordance with the assigned lab schedule.
- Each student works ALONE. Each student is responsible for submitting his or her OWN work.
- Pre lab work will be completed BEFORE coming to the lab and turned in for grading upon entering the lab. If the work is not turned in when the lab instructor collects
the material, that individual will receive a zero for that week's pre-lab grade.
- The lab report must be in the format prescribed in the lab report format document.
- The graded prelab must be included at the end of the lab report.
Grading
The labes are graded on a scale of 0-100. Points distributed as follows:
- Pre-lab: 30 points
- Report: 70 points
Reports are to be submitted as prescribed in the lab report format document, which includes
the point distribution for the report grading.
