The most serious elements which threaten the information protection are the illegal alteration, the wiretapping, the identity to disguise the fact, the re-transmission in Internet communication. One of the most important information protection services in these threats are confidentiality, integrity, and authentication. Users can be protected from the identity to disguise the fact and re-transmission threats by using the authentication witch can be connected with Access Control, Data Integrity, the Confidentiality, Non-Repudiation, Audit services.
This paper proposes a fast and effective authentication mechanism to the mobile device in mobile environment on IPv6 and analyzes the authentication mechanism and key exchange. The constitution of this paper is below. The primary factors of threats and authentication requirements in mobile environment in Chapter 2 and the One-way authentication mechanism about mobile device on IPv6 mobile communications in Chapter 3 are described. The analysis and test and test result of the proposed mechanism are explained in Chapter 4. The results are shown in Chapter 5.
