Sixteen scenarios have been defined for the Little Tennessee River Basin
watershed. These pre-defined scenarios are described below.
Four Transition Modules (TM) used to define the scenarios:
- Historical transition probabilities for the period 1986-1991.
- Historical transition probabilities for the period 1975-1986.
- Spatial limitations on transition from FOREST cover. For
this module, forest area that is adjacent
to a stream or on slopes greater than 20 percent cannot change to a
NONFOREST cover. All other areas will have historical transition
probabilities for 1986-1991 applied.
- No transition from FOREST cover.
