Grading policy on Problem 5.1.10:

Recall that problem 8 accidentally dropped a factor of 1/2 off of the
left hand side of the relation. It said

         b-a
error =  --- [ f(a) - f(b) ]
          n
when, according to the previous page, it should have been

         b-a
error =  --- [ f(a) - f(b) ]
          2n

(1) if a student followed the formula on p. 172 consistently and got
the answer 56 thousand something, score = 10/10

(2) if a student followed the formula from Problem 8 consistently and
got the answer 114 thousand something, score = 10/10

(3) if a student wrote down the formula from page 172 but then somehow
conveniently dropped off that 1/2 in order to get the answer from the
back of the book (114 thousand something), score = 9/10 and I *really*
wanted to give them 5/10 for back-of-the-bookism.
