If you don’t have wire for ‘cukes” to climb on take hoe handle and keep turning the vines in and around the hill or the bastardly vines will head for Kansas City and by all over the garden. To touch a dew damp k&*]t cumcumker vine with your hand is to invite mildew. Also keep them picked because once one them turns yellow, theplant stops setting on. With cucumbers and beans planting several weeks apart, keeps a contiunous supply’. With tomatoes go for v arietieà that have different maturity dates and a well kept vine can produce a lot of tomatoes so you don’t need a great number of plants.
