   • Plato's presentation of the "Ascent to Divine Beauty" is contained in Symposium 209E-212C (Jowett tr.); you can go directly to this section (Fowler/Lamb trs.) at the Perseus site. The Ascent to Divine Beauty is the latter part of Diotima's Lecture (Symposium201C-212C (Jowett tr.).    • The "higher mysteries of love," to which Diotima refers in the Symposium, are discussed in Plato's Phaedrus [EAWC]
