CS460 Final Grading Info

Jim Plank --- Spring, 1998

Lab Grading Information

I took your total lab score, added 42 points, divided by 700 and multiplied by 100. You can assign a letter grade to your lab score using the scale at the end of this page. This meant that there were two A+'s, four A's, two B+'s and an F. Excellent work, y'all!

Final Grading Information

I used the following grading function:
  (Final exam score + 11)/60*35 + (Lab Score + 42)/700*65
Indeed that looks wierd, but it let me set the following levels: If you care, there were three A+'s, one A, two B+'s, two B's, one F.

I enjoyed teaching this class immensely -- you all were fun and inquisitive. Have good summers!
