Introduction

    This course covers the fundamentals of computer networking. It mainly discusses the physical layer, the link layer, the network layer, the transport layer, and the application layer. Students will learn network design details in a hands-on fashion.

    Prerequisite: ECE206 or equivalent (C programming language)

    Lab: FH422 (Networking Laboratory). Fedora Linux is installed on all the computers. An internal network is built using low-end routers (software simulation).
