About

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying under Professor Lynne E. Parker.

My Ph.D. research is focused on applications of Human-Centered Robotics (HCR), where I am creating intelligent, autonomous humanoid robots to teach students. In creating an Intelligent Robot Instructor (IRI) for this purpose, I am investigating issues of perception, cognitive reasoning and decision making, and human-robot interaction.
