IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The code you will obtain is written in C, C++, and Java. It was specifically designed to execute on a SunSPARCstation running the SunOS 5.5.1 (Solaris) operating system. For the compilation of C and C++ source code, both the GNU compilers gcc and g++ are used. The Java source code is compiled by Sun Microsystems' Java compiler. Some knowledge of UNIX is required for installation and testing.

This software is not guaranteed to work on all computing platforms. Therefore, the developers are not responsible for any results obtained or not obtained from your DICE experience(s). However, if you encounter problems in getting DICE installed, please feel free to report them to dice@cs.utk.edu.
