- Overall it was a letdown, people stuck with the Unix systems

- HP and Intel team up to research a 64 bit CPU
- Intel invested 8.9 billion and HP 20.3 billion
New Technology Helping Police
- Police cruisers outfitted with computers
- Could wirelessly access crime databases
Internet Games Dooming Networks
- Doom was outlawed by Universities and Companies accross the US
- It clogged up and brought down networks by broadcasting packets to every computer on the network
