Five Spice Chicken Legs


From Gourmet magazine, March, 2000. Frankly, this is kinda bland in my opinion. Probably better the next day. Regardless, this is a good way to make chicken legs/thighs. It would probably be fine with barbecue sauce, or any other thick sauce.

Preheat the oven to 500F. Combine the powder and sauce and spread it all over the chicken pieces. Put the pieces in a baking dish lined with aluminum foil. Bake on the top shelf of the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is dark on the top, and done. Enjoy.
