Nat Turner's Pork Chops
From Vibration Cooking, Vertamae Smart Grovenor
This is a very tasty pork dish when it's done right. We've had
problems with consistency, though. Sometimes it's perfect. Sometimes,
the pork is dry. Sometimes it doesn't have the right texture.
Who knows -- must have something to do with the ``vibrations''...
Ingredients
- 6 pork chops, any cut
- 2 crisp apples, sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- rosemary
- garlic powder
- salt and pepper
Directions
Wash pork chops and pat dry. Season with salt, pepper, garlic
powder, and rosemary. Brown the pork chops in a large skillet. Remove.
Add oil (preferably peanut oil) and fry unions until limp. Add pork
chops and apples and more spices, if desired. Cover and cook until
done, about, 30 minutes. Serve topped with goo from the pan.
Serves 3.
