Quesadillas
Heather's recipe from her uncle Bruce
This certainly isn't an authentic recipe for Quesadillas, but I've yet to
meet someone who doesn't love it. It's a good reason to always have
tortillas and cheese in the fridge.
Ingredients
- Flour tortillas
- Pace picante sauce
- Monteray Jack with Jalapeno cheese, grated
Directions
Put a very thin layer of the picante sauce on the tortilla. Cover
with a sparse layer of cheese. Put on a baking tray in a hot oven
(400F) and cook until the tortilla is good and crispy. Eat.
Comments
- A good alternative is to use plain Monteray Jack cheese and
put fresh chopped Jalapenos on top (remove the
seeds if you don't want it hot), or get some canned chopped Jalapenos and put
them on
top.
- Also good with some taco beef between the sauce and the cheese.
