Refried Beans
I'm not sure if anyone wants to claim this recipe. I just wrote it down after
watching Heather.
Ingredients
Directions
Heat some oil in an iron skillet. Dump in the can of beans. If you want
them drier, drain them first, but retain the juice in case it gets too dry.
Stir, fry, and
mash the beans
with the back of a fork until you have refried-bean gunk. Serve quickly, as it
tends to dry out.
Serves 2.
Comments
- If it starts drying out, add more oil or bean juice.
- Try refrying the
Black
Bean Soup recipe
for some scintillating variety
- Some say use the back of a wooden spoon instead of a fork. We say not --
a fork is easier.
