SECTIONS 8.0-8.13:
Know the principles of base systems, Binary, BCD and Hexadecimal.
Know binary (base2) zero through nine and Hex A through F.
Know symbols and Truth Tables for AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR, XNOR, S/R and JK-MS flip-flops.
SECTION 8.14:
Know the principle, circuit, and wave- forms for the binary (ripple) counter.
SECTION 8.15:
Know the method of analysis of two JK/MS flip-flops connected in some pattern. See divide by 3, in class "shift register", and HWP.
SECTION 8.16:
Decade Counter principle.
SECTION 8.17:
BCD to Decimal principle and connections.
SECTION 8.18:
Seven Segment Display principle.
SECTION 8.19:
D/A Converter (Fig. 8-24)
SECTION 8.20:
A/D Converter (Fig. 8-26)
