Students are expected to be diligent and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4. Background in math is a plus. Wide range of research is conducted at the lab and new ideas in different fields are always encouraged. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Network systems
- Cyber security for control systems
- Distributed and decentralized control systems
- System identification
- Smart grids
- Modeling and estimation of communication networks
- Modeling and control of wireless communication
