This workshop continues the theme from the first:
Systems Biology Meets the Clinic.
Clinical Systems Biology is a multidisciplinary subject with the potential
to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases.
Continuing progress requires collaboration between divergent fields
including medicine, immunology, genomics, computer science, mathematics
and statistics. The aim of this meeting is to bring together such experts
in order to increase our understanding of foundational issues and to synthesize
practical approaches for meeting concrete medical research goals. The format
will be informal and unhurried. Participants are invited (but not required)
to speak on their work. Technical talks will be interspersed with open
sessions and breakout discussions.
